In the world of Home Education, we could all use a little support. Some of us aren't trained school teachers (me! me!) and the rest of us that are find it isn't all that helpful, anyway. I'll admit that I've spent a lot of time experimenting on my children, simply because I didn't know how to teach my own children. Each day led us down a different path as I tried to sort is all out. Days became months, months became years, and I still didn't know what I was doing. Money and time was spent Curriculum Hopping. If that curriculum didn't save our homeschool, maybe the next one would? I bet I'm not alone. I really just wanted to get this whole thing figured out so that we could all move on with life and learning. But something stood in our way. I found all of the stereotypical homeschool advice really wasn't very helpful. Hence, this blog. I am on a journey to find out what IS helpful and share it here.
